AUCTION RULES – FOR CONTRIBUTORS
1) The auction will be held the weekend of 5th - 7th July 2013. We will be adhering to GMT timezone.
2) Those who wish to donate goods to the auction must register and commit their interest no later than June 15th 2013.
3) Please provide an original photograph of the item you are willing to donate/ make for auction. If the item is to be a custom item, then please provide a picture of a similar item you have made before.

Fandom items are very welcome, as are original items. Examples of items donated to the previous auction include a fandom themed wreath, a handmade baby quilt, a handmade cake topper, handmade jewellery, a Harry Potter commemorative plate, and a pdf fandom cookbook.
4) Those who donate to the auction must be willing to cover shipping costs on their item. You may state that you will only ship within your own country, but please make this clear.
5) You must mail the item within 2 weeks of the bidder's receipt being received.
6) Each item will receive a minimum starting bid, which will be decided by the FFA team and you, the contributor.

7) You are free to choose the charity that you would like the funds from your item to be donated to. Please provide a donation link for admin.
8) All auction photographs are to be sent to admin, along with any relevant information, to be uploaded. The auction admin team are Chantel Knight, Silver Spoon, and Tori W Inch-Tester. If you fail to receive a response after 48 hours, please contact a different admin.
9) Auctioned goods must be material items. The only exceptions are thus:
* an author may auction their own services to write a piece of the winning bidder's choice
* the creation of a banner/s of the winning bidder's choice.

1) Bidders are to comment under the photograph with the price that they bid. If you wish to outbid someone, the minimum increment is 50 pence/50 cents/50 cent euro.
2) If you are the successful bidder on an item, you have one week from the end of the auction to pay. If you do not pay in this time, the item will go to the next highest bidder.
3) If you bid on an item at the same time as someone else, the item will go to the first bidder, as Facebook orders your names.
4) Items will only be posted once the bidder has emailed their charity receipt to the official e-mail address. This is FFAFundraisers@outlook.com

5) Abuse, name-calling, or any other inappropriate comments will lead to an immediate ban from this and future auctions. This will mean that you will lose the right to any items you have won, unless you have already paid for them.
6) If you will be away during the auction time and have your heart set on an item, you may appoint a trusted friend to bid on your behalf. Admin MUST be informed of this beforehand to reduce the risk of any confusion. Please also provide your bidder with a maximum bid price.
